Dr. Maeder is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Neuro-ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She earned her medical degree with honors at the University of Liverpool, followed by a two-year surgical training program at St. George’s University Hospital in London, United Kingdom. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Tennessee and her Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Maryland, where she also spent two years on research in the fields of Neuro-ophthalmology and Neurosurgery. She has been the Director of Neuro-Ophthalmology at DHMC since 2015. She lives in the Upper Valley with her husband, their two young children and two energetic goldendoodles.
